Maa Saraswati — The grace of flow

Maa Saraswati — The grace of flow

A fresh dewdrop.
An essence dancing as pure Sattva.
A celestial goddess of splendor and pristine beauty.
With a milk-like ambrosial purity.
O’ Hamsini.
You are an embodiment of pure grace and creativity.
You are wisdom. You are light. You are flow.
Your ever-abiding river of love,
An expression of Life’s inspiration and exhilaration.
Vasant Panchami, a fragrance nascent
We celebrate your arrival.
The winds sing your song.
The flowers unabashedly dance.
You are the Spring in everyone’s step.
Life is flamboyantly abloom again in your radiance and glory.

The Mother Of Vedas

The knowledge of the Vedas are cosmic truths that were received/heard (Shruti) as sound energy by the ancient Yogrishis.
The oldest of the scriptures Rigveda describes Maa Saraswati as this.

Praṇo Devī Saraswatī Vājebhir Vājinīvatī |
Dhīnāma Vitryavatu || 6.061.04

Prana is life’s vital manifesting energy.
Pra means to manifest, to appear, to bring forth.
Nah refers to our relative identity in and as our body-mind.
Prana taking form or shape.
Prana is that which manifests in and as us.
The higher the pranic energy in us, the higher our ability to create/manifest and be the creators we are.
Devi comes from the root word Div — Pure light.
Devi is she who shines.
The resplendent one who is full of light.

Saraswati — she who is the sacred sweetness (rasa) of life (swa) itself.
She is Sarati Rasena Iva (Medha Suktam) — She is the one who is fluidity personified.
An expression/speech and flow of divine truth.
She is that which energizes manifested life in form.
We acknowledge how her fertile radiant presence awakens us and our intellect.

She flows.

Maa Saraswati, especially in Vedas, was also worshipped as the mighty abundant River Saraswati that flowed in the Northern parts of India (Indus Valley)and went underground around 1500 BC.
Ages ago, in the times where humans lived the Sanatana Dharma (Way of humanity/Sentient beings), there was no separation between the body-mind and the land on which one lived.
It was also the reason the sacred rivers of India — Ganga, Yamuna, and Saraswati were revered as the literal 3 Nadis/energy channels that run in the spine as Ida, Pingala, and Sushumna.
When the Ida, Pingala aligned/overflowed, Saraswati rose in the central Sushmana to awaken one to their whole and integrated self as life’s kundalini energy.

The disappearance of Saraswati almost 3000 years ago is symbolic of forgetting our innate truth. By adopting ways of the masculine materialistic world, we forgot to honor our whole manifested being as both a dance of the Feminine and Masculine energy.

She is here.

Maa Saraswati comes alive in Spring.
Vasant Panchami marks her birthday which is 40 days before she can be adored in manifested full bloom as Spring.
After Maa Durga in Navratri, who removes Tamas, and Maa Lakshmi, who rules Rajas.
Nature at this time is heralding the awakening/arrival/embodiment of the subtle sweetness of Maa Saraswati.

Maa Saraswati’s Sattva essence arises within us as a fresh pristine dewdrop.
She is a sacred symbol of our innate wisdom, grace, true knowledge, pure expression, and creativity.
She is life’s colorful dance in joy.
For all who desire to live/love her, this transitory time from Vasant Panchami, Feb 5th 2022 till Mar 18th, 2022, which is the arrival of full-blown Spring and Holi — festival of colors of life is a sacred time of preparation.

We are nature.

As above so below. As within so without.
As the flowers bloom in nature soon, the energetic chakras in our bodies also awaken to nature’s cycle.
This is an opportune time to live/love from a new conscious truth and a new awareness.
The sattva aspect of her invites us to live as a wholehearted integrated expression of that which is.
As Spirit in Human form, to recognize this Rasleela/Play for what it is.
In Bhagavad Gita, Krishna/Consciousness is hailed as Spring personified.
This play of consciousness is a time of celebration.
A celebration of that which is innately us.
