It's that time of the year again.
Holiday time and the end of the year when we start reflecting on how this year was for us and looking at setting intentions of what is to come ahead.

Depending on what we have experienced, this can either be a happy or a bittersweet time for us. Setting intentions and goals are very helpful practices and this year I want to invite you to explore all this from a new space and in a new way.

Solstice means “to stand still.” Winter Solstice is when the night/darkness is longest before Nature makes her shift again towards longer days and more light. The cycle of the Sun mirrors the cycle of our lives and invites us into a time of deep rest, renewal, and reflection. Just as we align with the Moon’s journey every month, we can align with the Sun’s journey through the year. It is the reason throughout many cultures and our history we honor and celebrate this time of Solstice as the rebirth of the Sun and new beginnings. The longest night of the year symbolizes the illusion of darkness that serves and makes way for what is coming to light.

As Life continues, nature's cycle begins anew.

Who we think we are and how we see and interpret what has been and is here will determine what we let go of, what intentions we set, and how we will move forward into the times ahead.

HOW TO PREPARE FOR THE RETREAT
Please make sure are in a space where you won't be disturbed. Have a journal and a couple of pens with you for writing.
Water bottle for when you feel thirsty.
Optional - Candle, crystals, or any of your favorite anchoring items that help you connect to the deepest parts of yourself.
