  • Ideally if we are following a rotine that aligns with our Prakriti, we will naturally awaken at teh perfect time when our body-mind is is rested and refreshed.

  • Generally as soon as our eyes open we tend to immediately move into our body-mind identity and it’s mode of ‘to dos’.
    It is very helpful therefore just before we begin our day to simply be in the bed and for a minute or so build our awareness. Just like with Yoga-Nidra, just feel the aware presence of the body-field by having a full bodied awareness of the moving breath and the field of the body-mind.
    We can even use this time to add a mental intention to move through the day with aware presence.

    If you have a few more minutes, this simple kriya from Kundalini Yoga is also very helpful with getting our body and spine ready for the day.
