NEW YEAR RESOLUTIONS
What are your New Years resolutions for 2019?
There are many types of resolutions, and if we were to categorize them, they would likely fall under one of these three.
1. Destination Resolutions
These are the ones where you clearly know and see where you want to be.
Ideal body weight.
Abundance in $$.
An 8 bedroom mansion with a pool etc.
These are concrete and form-based by definition.
2. Journey Resolutions
These are all about making choices on what we want to experience in our everyday life.
Traveling to dream destinations.
Eating healthier.
More yoga.
Learning a new skill.
These offer more flexibility than Destination Resolutions.
3. State of Being Resolutions.
These are all about how we want to feel and be. While other resolutions are focused externally, this one is all about our inner world.
Feeling joy in every moment.
Love is the lens through which I will see everything.
Empowered is what I am aiming for.
Ease is how I flow etc.
This is not about getting it right or wrong.
While we all may hold a combination of different types of resolutions, we eventually come to realize that even the external goals are ultimately tethered to experiencing a desired inner state.
The only question being…why not start there?

Being joyful, exhilarated and in wonder, no matter where you find yourself on a mountain is a State of Being Resolution.
